When thousands of students, researchers, lecturers and top government officials gather to discuss the future of a humane economy, the last thing anyone should be worrying about is technical difficulties.
On 22–23 July 2026, the World Trade Centre Kuala Lumpur (WTCKL) hosted the highly anticipated Humane Economy Global Discourse (HEGD 2026). Featuring inspirational talks from industry leaders and a keynote address by the Prime Minister of Malaysia, Dato’ Seri Anwar Ibrahim, the stakes for a flawless execution were incredibly high.
That is exactly why Fibernatic was brought in as the Official Tech Partner. We were tasked with engineering the digital backbone of the event from the ground up, ensuring that the technology faded into the background so the powerful messages could take centre stage.
Here is a look behind the scenes at how Fibernatic supported HEGD 2026.
1. The digital front door: a custom event website
Before attendees even set foot in WTCKL, their experience began online. Fibernatic designed and developed the official HEGD website — a robust, user-friendly hub for schedules, speaker bios and event information that could handle massive spikes in web traffic without crashing.
2. Eliminating the bottleneck: QR smart check-ins
Managing the flow of thousands of people entering an event space is notoriously chaotic. We replaced manual clipboards with a high-speed digital ecosystem.
Fibernatic deployed an automated QR scanning system that instantly verified attendees and generated smart name tags on the spot. This drastically reduced wait times and created a premium, VIP-level entry experience for every guest.
3. Flawless stage management: live presentation sync
When a speaker steps up to the podium, their visuals need to be perfect. Fibernatic’s team managed the live stage tech, handling the complex PowerPoint screen sharing and display systems.
From seamlessly transitioning between slide decks to ensuring the visual fidelity on the massive WTCKL screens was pixel perfect, we made sure the technical delivery matched the calibre of the speakers.
Tech that empowers
An event’s success is often measured by what you don’t see — no crashing websites, no massive check-in lines, and no awkward screen glitches on stage. At Fibernatic, we pride ourselves on building the silent, scalable infrastructure that makes large events run like clockwork.
