Frequently asked questions

Can customers book without creating an account?
Yes — guest checkout is the default. Customers pick a service, slot and staff member, enter contact details, optionally pay a deposit, and they're done. They can opt-in to a passwordless account later for booking history and faster future bookings.
Does it sync with Google Calendar or Outlook?
Two-way sync with both. Each staff member connects their calendar once; the system reads existing busy slots (so they're never double-booked) and writes new bookings back so reminders/agenda apps work. Calendars stay private — the booking system only sees free/busy.
Can I take a deposit at the time of booking?
Yes — flat amount or % of total, configurable per service. Deposits are processed via FPX, card or e-wallets (TNG, GrabPay, Boost). Refund/forfeit policy is also configurable per service.
How do you handle no-shows?
Three tools: automated SMS + WhatsApp reminders 24h and 1h before (dramatically reduces accidental no-shows), required deposits for serial offenders, and a no-show-rate report so you can see which customers/services have the problem. Repeated no-shows can be auto-blocked from rebooking.
Can I run multiple locations from one system?
Yes — each location has its own calendar, staff, service menu and pricing. Customers see the locations on one booking page, pick the one they want, and only the staff at that location appear. Admins and franchise owners can roll up reports across locations.
Does it integrate with my website?
Yes — embed the booking widget on any page (WordPress, Shopify, Wix, plain HTML) with a copy-paste snippet, or use a hosted booking page at book.yourbusiness.com. The widget inherits your brand colours and fonts.
